50th Anniversary Fender 1962 Re-issue Telecaster MIJ
In the late 1970’s I was driving around my neighborhood and picked up my friend Dean Miller, and took him to see John Lee Hooker at Biddy Mulligans in Rogers Park, on the far North side of Chicago. Fast Forward 30 years, and Dino presented me with the 50th Anniversary Fender 1962 Re-issue Telecaster MIJ, for my 50th Birthday, and told me that the Hooker gig changed his life. I was deeply touched and this guitar has a very special mojo.

1959 Fender Custom Esquire
I bought the 1959 Fender Custom Esquire from my Friend Ron Berry in 1978, the story was that it was involved in a retail robbery and was scratched up from going through a window. Around the same time, I bought the 1966 Blackface Bassman amp at a Pawn shop on South State street in Chicago for $75. I used this rig while on the road with Little Milton in the early 80's
2000 Fender Telecaster ’52 US re-issue
I was driving around the south side on a Saturday morning and stopped at a garage sale and bought an old set of psychedelic Ludwig drums for $10. While searching for drum hardware, a guy told me that these drums were collectible I sold the set for over$1000 and turned around and bought myself my first ever new guitar, the 2000 Fender Telecaster ’52 US re-issue.
